Since our founding in 2021, TaylorsMOM, Inc. has developed and grown in a positive direction. We’re very proud of the diversity of our Directors, and their abilities to contribute their own unique experiences and skills to our success. Find out more about some of our team members below.
Imelda Johnson Matthews
President
Imelda Johnson-Matthews has over 42 years of experience working in the federal government. Imelda is a graduate of George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master's Certificate in Project Management. She also received a Master of Education in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Coppin State University.
Since retiring, Imelda is a substitute teacher, tutors elementary and middle school children, and serves as a board member for the Success and Learning Math Center, Inc. Imelda is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Prince George’s Alumnae Chapter, and is an advisor for the Delta GEMS program. Imelda is an active member of the Westphalia United Methodist Church.
Imelda is married and has one daughter. She enjoys traveling with family, reading, and working on arts and crafts.

Beaulah M. Griffith-Clark
Vice President
Beaulah brings her years of experience and skills to help our organization grow and succeed. As an educator with 15 years of experience, Beaulah is currently an elementary school teacher and team leader within the Prince George's County Public School System. With degrees in Elementary Education and an advanced degree in Curriculum and Instruction, she brings the expertise needed to understand and meet the educational needs of children and support parents along their journey.
Beaulah is a dedicated wife and mother who loves to garden, cook, travel, and enjoys a good laugh!

Alesha Ogunleye
Treasurer
Alesha is a 31-year-old mother of 2 beautiful girls and currently working on #3. She has a Master’s Degree in Science, with a specialty in Nurse Executive Leadership. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2012- working as a staff nurse in various Pediatric specialties earlier in her career as an RN then as a Clinical Operations Manager for 4 years and now as a Senior Project Manager. Alesha has lived in the DC metropolitan area her entire life. She enjoys spending time with her family and having gatherings with her close friends. She also loves to dance to relieve stress and LAUGH ALOT!!

Carolyn O. Griffith
Board Member
Originally from St. Croix, U.S.V.I., Carolyn has lived in the DC Metropolitan area for the past 24 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Communication and Technology. She is a 20-plus-year IT professional, Carolyn is a mother to one, but affectionately known as “Ma” to countless others.
Carolyn is very involved in various community services and is involved in stepping up and stepping in for many organizations with great causes like the Alzheimer's Association and Girls Health Ed to name a few.

Ashlin Price
Board Member
Ashlin Price is a 32-year-old African American female. Ashlin is a certified alcohol and drug counselor and a caseworker in child welfare with the State of Maryland, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services and a Master's degree in Social Work. Ashlin loves working in the human service profession and instilling hope in families.
In Ashlin's Words - "I love watching Animal Planet, I enjoy eating chocolate and I love good food. I am financial literacy consultant."
Vannessa D. Williams
Board Member
Vannessa Williams is an experienced client service, client relations, and customer care professional with more than ten years of experience providing Service Delivery through Change Management, Program Management, and Training Program solutions. She is an effective Program Manager and business advisor with repeated success in establishing customer partnerships, delivering solutions that meet customer requirements, and driving the organizational change activities necessary to achieve successful business results. Dr. Williams is accomplished in the creation of designing, delivering, and managing enterprise system training programs and service delivery solutions.
Aisha Wilson
Board Member
Aisha is a 47 years old mother of 5, and an educator for over 20 years. She was born in Chicago but raised in St. Louis, MO. Aisha is educated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Masters in Elementary Education, and Elementary Administration Education. Educating children of all ages and backgrounds is a joy for her. Aisha is currently a middle school ELL teacher. She has been living in the DC Metropolitan area for 7 years and is really enjoying herself and the many opportunities for her and her 3 beautiful daughters.
